Olumayowa Okediran

Individual Nigeria, West and Central Africa

I combine my experience as a manager of projects, people, and resources with an interest in policy and strategic foresight. In my current role, I oversee over 2,000 volunteers and full-time staff with a portfolio of programs and projects in 114 countries. I am a PMI-certified Project Management Professional and a Certified Information Security Manager. I have provided advisory services to about a dozen start-up think tanks and sit on the council of Africa's oldest research and policy think-tank. I help organizations develop and improve their foresight capabilities and often write about anticipating and preparing for the future. My opinions have been published and translated into 16 languages and have appeared on CNN, BBC, Forbes, Reason Magazine, CapX, HuffPost, Business Day, PanamPost, as well as on several local media. I have been listed on the YNaija PowerList as one of the most influential Nigerians under 40 and nominated for the Future Awards Africa prize in Advocacy, an award the World Bank calls the "Nobel Prize for Young Africans." I am the author of Navigate, which is a scenario analysis of Nigeria's future till the year 2030.
