I’m a futurist and strategist focusing on the creative use of futures tools to impact long term positive change, particularly around social justice and equality. I utilize systems thinking, design, mapping, scenario planning, and speculative futures to engage with stakeholders on strategic visions and the concrete actions needed to achieve them. I’m based at Forum for the Future, a global sustainable development non-profit, where I work with businesses and other organizations to solve complex challenges and create a more sustainable world. Before that I worked in strategic foresight on behalf of US government intelligence and security agencies. My work spans a number of sectors and topics. I work with companies in fashion, consumer goods, food, and urban planning. I’ve also worked with public sector partners on topics such as the future of feminism, neo-nationalism, and the impact of COVID-19. Above all, I try to bring provocation and creativity to my work with the intent of driving impact in a way that is inclusive, equitable, and transformative. In additional to my work with Forum, I often guest lecture at universities, deliver keynotes and workshops at conferences, speak on panels, and collaborate with other organizations on impact-driven projects. When I’m not at work, I am an avid gamer, science fiction reader, and trivia enthusiast. .
