The Center for Prospective Studies of Cuyo AC is the result of the trajectory and consolidation of the Center for Prospective Studies of the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the National University of Cuyo (Mendoza, Argentina). This new entity is a Civil Association that arises from years of work, which concluded that the best alternative was the creation of its own legal entity, giving rise to the birth of this new entity to continue the activities of the previous one. Center for Prospective Studies of the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the National University of Cuyo remains an academic space for prospective thinking that makes all those who do this discipline proud and exalted. The Center for Prospective Studies of Cuyo AC has among its objectives: - Develop intervention strategies in order to specify actions aimed at promoting the implementation and development of Foresight, Strategic Planning, Future Studies andForecast Studies (Foresight), systematizing and relating the different existing initiatives in this matter. - Develop updating, improvement and training activities in Future Studies, Foresight and Strategic Planning. - Cooperate and advise public and private institutions by providing information and prospective knowledge for strategic decision making. - Serve as a link to the demands and needs for prospective and strategic issues of the community in general. - Articulate and participate in national and international inter-institutional cooperation networks.
