Human Rights Advocate | Gender Equality Champion | Community Development Leader

Saraphina Ambale is a visionary leader and dedicated advocate for human rights, gender equality, and youth empowerment. With over five years of experience working with young people and women, she has played a pivotal role in advancing social justice, fostering community development, and shaping policies that promote inclusivity and equity.

As the Founder and Executive Director of Eagle Wings Organization (EWO) , Saraphina has been instrumental in mobilizing and building the capacity of adolescent girls and young women in Kisumu County. Under her leadership, EWO has implemented programs focused on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender-based violence prevention, economic empowerment, and environmental conservation. She has led strategic planning, resource mobilization, and partnership development to drive impactful community initiatives.

Saraphina contributes to global advocacy and diplomacy as a Communication Consultant with Every Woman Treaty, where she works on amplifying efforts to end violence against women and girls through global campaigns and policy engagement. Her work in international advocacy has strengthened her expertise in global diplomacy, strategic communication, and policy influence.

In addition to her leadership at EWO, she serves as a Pathway to Change initiative, a steering committee member of The Collaborate 2023/2024, and an alumna of the Next Generation Foresight Practitioners program. Through these roles, she has collaborated with global leaders, contributed to high-level discussions on youth inclusion, and championed foresight thinking for sustainable development.

With a strong background in nonprofit management, strategic communication, global diplomacy, and leadership, Saraphina continues to be at the forefront of initiatives that empower marginalized communities. She remains committed to fostering meaningful change through advocacy, capacity building, and policy engagement at both local and international levels.
