Rosihan Zain is currently Chief Executive Officer of FUTURISE, an organisation mandated by the Government of Malaysia to manage the National Regulatory Sandbox. FUTURISE provides public policy advisory, acting as a key enabler of regulatory solutions that can expedite innovation and future-proof Malaysia's economy. Prior to this he had served as Special Officer to the Finance Minister and Senior Director of LAKSANA, an agency under the Ministry of Finance (MOF). Before MOF, Rosihan was the Director of Strategic Communications at Bank Negara Malaysia. Between 2011 to 2013, he served as the strategic communications advisor to the Minister’s Office, Ministry of Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing. As a communications consultant, he has advised clients such as PR1MA, Iskandar Regional Development Authority, Eden Inc, SIRIM, Touch ‘n Go and the CIMB Group CEO’s Office. Rosihan is a member of the Chartered Management Institute, United Kingdom; holds a BA in Law & Philosophy (Upper Second Class) from University of Kent, UK. He is currently an MBA candidate at Universiti Tun Abdul Razak and a recipient of the UEM Young Leaders Scholarship award.
