Investment banker with more than twenty years of experience advising multinationals on strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions. He worked as Managing Director for Latin America at ABN AMRO, Senior Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions at LEHMAN BROTHERS, Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for Latin America at UBS, and as Chief Economist for Latin America at SBC Warburg. He has also worked as a Senior Economist for Latin America at THE ECONOMIST INTELLIGENCE UNIT and as an economic journalist for the BBC World Service. Between March 2013 and April 2015 he held the position of President of the National Center for Strategic Planning (CEPLAN). He is currently the General Manager of Europa Partners and a columnist for Diario GestiĆ³n.
