Kushal Sohal is a Next Generation Fellow with the School of International Futures (SOIF) (Winner of the Walkabout Prize in 2021) and a Consultant with the Futures Literacy team at UNESCO HQ. He has codesigned futures projects with government ministries, UN agencies, youth groups, academics, and collectives worldwide. These activities have focused on futures of learning, disaster risk reduction, queer safe spaces, masculinity and parenting. With the support of NGFP, he has been exploring futures of masculinities in South Asia and the UK. Kushal has recently written a piece of speculative fiction on this theme which is awaiting publication. He hopes to continue to produce multimedia resources to spark public curiosity and social change.
