Lydia Caldana is a foresight strategist who creates fairer futures in the present.
She is the founder of Future Resources, a platform for the democratization of futures (www.lydiacaldana.com/futureresources), and the founder & president of ALAF – the Latin Futures Association (https://alaf.global/), a non-profit organization for Latin Americans who seek to reshape the perception of Latin America as a region that leads in futures.
Lydia works with both the private and public sectors, engaging in futures research and consulting as well as training, certification, and capacity-building in foresight.
Her clients and professional experiences include Box1824, UN-Habitat, The Estée Lauder Companies, Google, Lisbon City Council, Nike, Unilever, Spotify, The Future Laboratory, WGSN, ALVA R&C, Dubai Arts and Culture, Netflix, and more.
Lydia holds a master’s degree from The New School in Social Studies, specializing in Gender & Sexuality Studies and the Future of Urban Spaces.
