Angela is a senior strategist and the founder of Food Systems Foresight. She is also a lecturer and researcher at the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business and a Fellow at the Good Work Institute. She is a former Partner and Director at Dalberg Advisors and has formulated strategy for leading international NGOs, multilateral organizations and private sector companies in Europe, North America, South America, Asia and North, West, East, and Southern Africa.
Angela draws on an extensive strategic toolkit, specializing in futures, foresight and human-centered design. She has advised the World Bank Group, the United Nations, the African Union, NEPAD and several Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to Dalberg, Angela worked in Accenture’s Global Business Solutions practice where she specialized in strategic planning for corporate clients in North America and Asia. She was educated at the University of Minnesota (BSc), Columbia Business School and the University of Cape Town in South Africa (MBA).
Angela is a regular speaker and international lecturer. She has taught at the University of Geneva MBA program and the African Leadership Academy; a groundbreaking Pan-African baccalaureate program shaping the continent’s future leaders.
In her spare time, Angela practices yoga and is a certified teacher of hatha and vinyasa yoga. She was born in the United States and lived internationally for much of her life.
