Zan is a Canadian futurist, learner and educator with Policy Horizons Canada. Born and raised in England, Barbados and Canada, she currently resides in Tkaronto (Toronto) on the traditional territories of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Wendat, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and Anishinaabeg Peoples in Ontario. Zan’s foresight practice is built on a foundation of futures, systems and design thinking and increasingly focuses on the articulation of decolonial futures. Committed to bringing futures thinking to new audiences, Zan complements her practice by teaching Foresight in OCAD University's Strategic Foresight & Innovation Masters program.
