Dr Charles Umeh is working on a future of health project which will ensure universal health coverage for vulnerable in Africa through Telemedicine and Health system strenghthening. He is a Medical Doctor, Public Health Physician, Telemedicine expert and Family planning with an interest in future of healthcare and foresight practice in the field of health. Dr Charles Umeh is a Medical doctor, Public Health expert and Telemedicine professional with 7 years experience.He graduated from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria in 2015 and has worked with several Telemedicine Organizations, Health Organizations and NGOs since then. As a telemedicine professional,he co-authored "fundamentals of telemedicine and telehealth" published by elsevier in 2019. He is a member of the International Medical Informatics association and Healthcare informatics society of Nigeria. For his social work ,he was awarded the Edinburgh University Postgraduate scholarship,Commonwealth Youth Council Covid 19 grant and 2019 UCB/OPEN IDEO Healthy bone challenge honorable mention.
